I watched your face when you first saw him. The love in your eyes — I have never seen anything more beautiful. You whispered his name softly, and he seemed to know it was you.

While He Sleeps

I could watch him sleep for hours. The tiny flutter of his breath, those little fists curled up, the way his lips make the smallest smile — he is everything we ever hoped for and more.

Three of Us

We are a family now. When I hold him and look at you, I feel a kind of love I didn't know existed before he came. Thank you for giving me him. Thank you for being his mother.
